Neuromotor Disorders
A neurological disorder which leads to a motor defect such as paralysis of a limb or any part of the body is a neuromotor disorder. They could occur at any age. Causes include :
- Cerebral
palsy (here the motor defect is due to a static cerebral or brain disorder)
- Stroke
- Central
nervous system infections
- Degenerative
brain disorders
- Head
injury
- Disorders
of spinal cord
- Disorders
of peripheral nerves
